This year will mark the third year for the Hyland Hills PARKFEST celebration at Clear Creek Valley Park. PARKFEST is a FREE ADMISSION community fair that is open to everyone and we are hoping to see you and your family there! The fun starts at 5 pm and goes until 9 pm, featuring great entertainment, food trucks, soda, beer and wine vendors, air castles, and a hot air balloon “glow-out,” to end the evening.
Entertainment this year will be the live music of the metro area’s very popular Wash Park Band. They are well known for their high-energy powerhouse vocals and dynamic rhythm and horn sections. So, bring the family and plan on an evening of listening and dancing fun.
Food trucks will be on hand to with various offerings such as pizza from I Pie, barbeque from Seasoned Swine, yummy Italian fare from the Beef King, and dessert from High Point Creamery, just to name a few! The beer will be offered from a few local breweries including Bruz Brewery, Periodic Brewery, and Rails End Brewery. For wine, PARKFEST will host Balistreri Vineyards, which will be offering their delicious choices.
Representatives from the Adams County Sheriff’s Office and Adams County Fire Protection District are expected to be on hand with interesting displays, including the Sheriff’s horseback patrol unit and a fire truck from the Fire District.
Clear Creek Valley Park is quick becoming the area’s premier regional park because of its size, beauty and creativity. If you haven’t been out there to see for yourself, you will be amazed at the 85-acre size of the park, the multi-use sports fields, playground, trails, fishing, outdoor workout area, volleyball, and pickleball courts, cornhole arena and, of course, the new amphitheater.
September kicks off the fall festival frenzy, and I can tell you for sure that Hyland Hills PARKFEST is quickly becoming one of the best community festivals around. See you there on September 13th!
