Holiday F-U-N at Hyland Hills!

Residents of Hyland Hills Park and Recreation District have some special things to incorporate into their family holiday fun this year! The celebrating started early for the District with the opening of Holiday Lights Mini Golf at Adventure Golf & Raceway on November 2nd.  Long gone are the days where the park would go dark after a busy summer and fall season. Adventure Golf & Raceway now hosts one of the Denver metro area’s most spectacular holiday light displays – and by popular demand it includes miniature golf, weather permitting. The 54 unique and creative holes of golf literally jump out of the darkness with millions of brilliant, colored lights and surprises at every turn. The amazing themed structures and beautiful pathways include Woody, the giant talking tree, the erupting volcano, and the booming, fireball-spewing Polynesian temple god challenge, just to name a few. There are snacks, soda and holiday spirits for purchase for those 21+. For pricing, hours, and additional information, go to adventuregolfandraceway.com. Adventure Golf & Raceway is located at 9650 North Sheridan Boulevard.

For more Christmas lights fun this year, Water World has rented out its parking lot to a company called Christmas in Color. The company, which is also behind the successful Dillon Ice Castles extravaganza, is lighting up the Metro North skyline with an elaborate drive-through experience of synchronized music and holiday lights in the Water World parking lot from November 23rd – December 31st. The cost is $25 per carload with online tickets and information available at christmasincolor.net.

If you have little ones and want to take advantage of Breakfast with Santa, that will be held Saturday, December 8th at the Perl Mack Community Center, located at 7125 Mariposa Street, from 8 to 10 a.m. Enjoy pancakes , sausage, orange juice and coffee – all for FREE – thanks to our partners at Adams County Fire Rescue and Great Scotts Eatery. Oh, and don’t forget to bring your camera as well, because there will be plenty of time to visit with the big guy – SANTA HIMSELF!

Are you still looking for a very special gift for someone special? Consider purchasing a Hyland Hills Gift Card in any amount ($5 increments) that can be used for all Hyland Hills programs and facilities! Who wouldn’t appreciate a couple of passes to Water World, Adventure Golf & Raceway, the Greg Mastriona Golf Courses at Hyland Hills, Ice Centre at the Promenade – or any Hyland Hills activity! Gift cards can be purchased at the Administration Building or at any of our registration locations.

You are invited to enjoy all of the fun Hyland Hills has to offer this season and we wish everyone safe, warm and enjoyable holiday memories!
