Donal G. Waddell Park features 4 ball fields, concessions, restrooms, ample parking, a picnic shelter, trails and a playground. Access to Waddell Park is off Cottonwood Drive, just east of Federal Blvd.
2020 Master Plan Improvements Description: Work on this project in 2022 included improvements to the park and ballfield irrigation system, improving the internal ballfield drainage system and renovating the infield grading and warning track areas within the ballfields. The District also replaced the playground and converted some manicured turf areas to native grasses to reduce water consumption. Next phases in this project include enhancing the concession/restroom building, additional parking, and further improvements to the ballfields.
