These adjoining parks provide scenic views of downtown Denver coupled with a large number of amenities including disc golf, trails, a ball field, pickle ball, tennis and playgrounds.
2020 Master Plan Improvements Description: Hyland Hills worked in partnership with the local Disc Golf group to make improvements to the tee boxes for the disc golf course known as the Badlands Disc Golf Course. The District also developed a new brand logo for the course and installed new signage in 2023.
A new pedestrian bridge is planned for Q3 2024, along with repairs to the existing pedestrian bridge.
June 7, 2024 Update: The Upper Badlands Course is fully open. Portions of the Lower Badlands were closed due to drainage improvements on the nearby ballfields. Drainage work is now complete, and Hyland Hills is in the process of revegetating and re-opening those sections. This webpage will be updated as the project progresses.
