A. Junior golfers will meet next to the 9th green of the North Par 3 on Monday and Tuesday for putting and chipping. Juniors will meet at the driving range on Wednesday for irons and Thursday for woods.

Q. What will the juniors learn over the course of the sessions?

A. Over the course of the week, juniors will learn safety, etiquette, and care of the golf course from tee to green. Juniors will also learn the basic fundamentals pertaining to Putting, Chipping, Pitching, as well as the full swing with Irons and Woods.

Q. What is Golf Play Day on Friday?

A. Friday is play day for junior golfers participating in that weeks session. Parents are encouraged to join the juniors on the courses. All juniors wishing to play will meet near the 9th green of the North Par 3 (play day will be the same time as the session time for each class). All junior golfers 14 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult on all courses.

Q. How much is golf for Junior Golfers?

A. Junior golfers (and accompanying adults) who participate in any of the 2023 junior golf sessions may play complimentary on the North Par 3 through December 31st, 2023. Junior golfers must present their junior golf card at the golf shop prior to teeing off. Junior golfers must pay the junior fee to play the Gold, Blue, and South Par 3 courses. All junior golfers 14 years old and under must be accompanied by an adult on all courses.

Q. How long is each class?

A. Classes are 1 hour long. Juniors must be picked up immediately after class ends.

Q. What if there is inclement weather?

A. Please call the golf shop for updates. If we decide we need to cancel that days session we will notify you at the number you provide when you sign up. We will either cover that days session another day by increasing a class from 1 hour to an hour and a half or turn Friday play day into a make-up day. Depending on the situation. These decisions are made by the Program Leader.

Each of the three 5-day program sessions will include daily lessons by Hyland Hills instructors with a low student to instructor ratio to ensure quality, and individualized attention.
Additional benefits of the program include complimentary play on the Hyland Hills North Par 3 for both the junior golfer and his or her family for the season, and special junior golfer rates on the Gold, Blue and South Par 3.
***Financial assistance is available for those who qualify through the Hyland Hills Foundation.
